Me and Arlene were on official business last Tuesday and every time we had one, we really maximize our time – meaning, we normally do our personal stuff para naman mag-enjoy din while out of the office. So after doing an ocular visit at The Palms, we headed off to Glorietta and I convinced her to take me to Heaven N’ Eggs to have our lunch there…and so we did. Yummy, yummy, yummy and since the food is protein-riched, I didn’t feel that I am really full considering I ate country steak, potato wedges (I’ve been craving for this one since last week), scrambled egg, buttered veggies and 2 pancakes. Another agenda on that day is to have our usual “Prost!” but unfortunately, we have to go back to our office. Maybe next time, we can schedule another coffee stop.

Nothing compares to the feeling of being surrounded by true friends… While me and Elmo were waiting for the others to arrive, I decided to buy at Auntie Anne’s and eat cinnamon pretzels because I was really hungry na..baby is asking already for food. While paying at the counter, Binoe, texted me to wait for him as he is still doing the laundry… sobrang natawa ako kasi I can’t simply imagine him doing the stuff…what a humble hubby he is! Then, we checked if AI Season 7 Album was released already but it’s not available yet. So, I decided to search on classical movies and decided to buy Grease 1. I love collecting classical movies and am quite a late bloomer talga pagdating sa pag-nuod ng mga movies so I’m sort of catching-up. Last night, we had a despedida dinner for our friend, Totie, who will be leaving next week for Thailand. His company, Ford, is sending him there for 2 years and we’ll be seeing him again this Christmas for his authorized vacation. Nonetheless, another good news is…we can stay in his house in case we plan to take a tour in Thailand…=) We talked about migrating, politics, NBA, and friends who were not present during our dinner. The Chinese food was great..yang chow fried rice, shrimp with gambas, lemon chicken and dimsum platter. Present were: Totie and wife Mimi, Binoe, me and Elmo.
It simply connotes a brand new day…a start of a new beginning, a chance to live and a chance to explore…. I enjoy the morning breeze, listening to the chirping birds, the smell of grasses and leaves, the feel of the morning dews brushing on my feet, the morning sunshine that inspires my morning walks in going to the office… Of course, I enjoy breakfast…it’s my favourite meal of the day. May it be the traditional Filipino breakfast – tinapa, danggit, fried egg, dilis, longganisa, tocino, corned beef…hmmm…. or American breakfast – bacon, ham, cereals, milk, wheat bread. At syempre….my morning wouldn’t be complete without coffee ….hay!!!!!!!!! I am a morning person =) I love waking up for a brand new start…
it was david cook who won the title... cook is really talented but my idol will still remain to be MJ...
my sister-in-law (my brother's wife) is off to go to Bangkok today...she will try her luck there and practice her teaching profession. my niece, andrey, will be staying with my dad and mom until the new school year starts. though, we are not really close...i just found myself a little teary eyed when i kissed her this morning...i really hate good byes! to you girl, i wish you luck and may good blessings come your way...for you, for aries and for my niece=) hmmm..maybe next year tourist guide mo kami sa Thailand
My friend and I had dinner last night at this newly opened resto in Carmona, Cavite. Initially, we thought of going to Alabang but I insisted to try this new resto. The food was great tasting..authentic Chinese. She ordered beef brisket noodle soup while I tried their yangchow fried rice and prawn dumplings. . I also found out that kapatid sya ng famous Chinese resto in Pasay ....ang The Legend. Hay, dapat yata talga I always have the camera with me. Kakainis....Anyways, we enjoyed the night..having good food and great conversations.
in the continuation of our coffee adventure ...we tried the newly opened franchise of Mocha Blends near Paseo de Sta. Rosa....hay, too bad...no camera for the photoshoot. it is a filipino-australian fine-dining coffee shop. i tried their mocha frost and blueberry cheesecake...2 thumbs up for them..delicioso!!!!! the cheesecake is so smooth to the taste and not so sweet...arlene had her coffee jelly...and she enjoyed it too. the ambience is so relaxing,a lot quieter than starbucks...sofas are nice to seat on...sarap humiga...interiors are nice... **this is also a mini-celebration for our career achievement =)**
I made this entry a few weeks ago but since our IT installed a firewall in our internet connection...I haven't opened my site for some time now...but since I'm now a laptop user, they can't install a firewall to my access any more..bwahahaha. The holy week for the Dorado’s was quite a special one for us since we’re together for 5 days straight. I took the day off on Holy Wednesday since I wasn’t really feeling good – the attacks of my morning sickness was terrible – fainting, feeling masusuka pero hindi naman, feeling always hungry pero after eating, I’d like to vomit. Anyways, Elmo decided to take me home. Maundy Thursday was my sche duled OB visit but unfortunately she was not still there at the hospital so we opted to go to Pagsanjan Church to start off the Bisita Iglesia. Friday morning, Elmo took charge of the kitchen while me and Gab headed to the market to buy the pakwan that I’ve been craving for many days!!! In the afternoon, we decided to continue with our Bisita Iglesia, this time with Gab. We went to Carmelite Monastery in San Pablo. Nagulat ako dahil renovated na sya and very modern ang dating ng chapel nila even the station of the cross (see photos attached). Next and last stop is in Majayjay, one of the oldest Churches I’ve ever seen. See photo where Gab was spelling out the letters from the scripture=). In the afternoon, my hungry tummy craved for tuna carbonara….so, I cooked one of my signature dishes=). We were not able to witness the procession since Gab fell asleep as early as 5:00 p.m. Reflections, prayers and realizations were done during this season. BTW, I am happy because I was able to do the following: - cooked
- changed curtains (finally!!!)
- sorted the contents of ref
- created play pen
- read Love in the Time of Cholera
- arranged pictures
- cleaned the house
Sunday was my ultrasound day…the results suggested a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby…..happy kami =) This was also a halo-halo, chicharon, ice cream day =) ***photos to be uploaded soon...

To my dear Husband.....thank you so much for all the love, care and comfort especially these days =) Thank You for Your Love by Dimsum My life was a constant uphill climb Never got it right Each one I love Went through a change of heart You came and my world turned upside down You sung a different tune Can't let go It keeps playing on my mind Now there's a reason to wake up each day A reason to shake my blues away Now I am whole, a lucky soul Wanna thank you for your love Thank you. Thank you for your love Confused , my heart was in a daze Learned to live with pain I loved in haste Then watched it go to waste You came and brought music to my soul Inspired me to the very core You touched me where No one has been before Now there's a reason to wake up each day I thank the Lord for sending you my way Now I am whole A lucky soul Wanna thank you for your love Thank you, thank you for your love I saw the world in shades of black and gray Turning blue with every passing day Just when I thought that maybe all was lost My life took on a new turn And it's all because, it's because REPEAT CHORUS 2 CODA; No looking back, no more pain No more dark clouds, no more rain Thank you. Thank you for you love.
I've been hooked in watching American Idol 7...and i really love Michael Johns especially when he did his own rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody...he is from San Diego but grew up in Aussie.
